Commands & keys
On this page
Command names come from config.lua, so yours may differ if you renamed them.
Commands
All commands are staff only (see Installation).
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/traffic | Open the control panel. Bind a key in Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM |
/trafficdensity <preset> | empty, light, normal, rush or gridlock |
/trafficclear [kind] | Remove everything, or only closure, jam, speed or detour |
/trafficdensity and /trafficclear also work from the server console. Every command can be renamed or turned
off in Config.Commands, and the panel can get a default key there.
The control panel
| Area | What's there |
|---|---|
| Top | Readouts: density, how many closures, jams, speed zones and detours are up, extra AI cars in use, game time (flagged in rush hour) and players |
| Left | Density presets, sliders and budgets, the rush hour schedule, and every active item with its timer. The Log tab shows the last changes and who made them |
| Middle | The map and its tools |
| Right | The inspector for the picked item or road |
For a new item the inspector holds the label, type, level, extra cars, props, when it's active, when it ends and who hears about it. For an active item you get the same settings plus Go to (teleports you, logged), Waypoint, Announce and Remove. Click a road for its class, lanes and length, with quick buttons to close, jam or slow it. Other side adds the opposite carriageway of a divided road.
Map tools
| Key | Tool | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| V | Select | Click an item or a road. Hovering shows the street name |
| C | Close | Click roads, or drag a box over an area |
| J | Jam | Drag a circle, or click the roads to jam |
| S | Speed | Click roads or drag a circle |
| D | Detour | Click the roads to close, then the roads traffic should take instead |
| M | Measure | Click points to measure a distance |

The layer buttons above the map turn land, postals and players on and off.
