SAF HUD puts what a roleplay server needs on screen and nothing else: health and armour, a compass with the nearest postal and street, a speedometer, and the current State of Emergency and Area of Play. When staff change either one, every player gets a full-width announcement with sound.
What it shows
| Part | What players see |
|---|---|
| Health and armour | Two thin bars under the minimap |
| Status list | SOE for every area and the AOP, stacked next to the minimap |
| Info bar | Compass heading, nearest postal, street name and zone |
| Speedometer | RPM ring with speed, plus fuel, engine and seatbelt indicators |
| Announcement | A banner across the screen whenever SOE or AOP changes |
Every part can be turned off in Config.Show.
State of Emergency
An SOE level tells players what kind of crime is allowed right now. You decide the levels (Green, Amber and Red ship by default) and the areas (Los Santos, Sandy Shores and Paleto Bay). Add as many of either as you want: the list on the HUD grows upward from the AOP line.

Area of Play
The AOP is a free-text area, like Sandy Shores or Statewide. Staff set it with /aop and it shows on the
HUD under the SOE list.
