Buying and downloads
What is the difference between Standard and Open source?
Standard is escrowed: the core is protected by Cfx.re, and config.lua, bridge/ and custom/ are open.
Open source has every file readable. Features are the same. See
Editions.
Where is my script after I buy it?
Standard: in keymaster.fivem.net under Granted Assets, on the Cfx.re account you logged in with at checkout. Open source: a download link in your email and in your store purchase history.
I bought it on the wrong Cfx.re account
Contact support with your order details. Don't buy it a second time.
Can I get a refund?
Digital goods are non-refundable once downloaded. Ask in Discord before buying if you're not sure a script fits your server.
Running the scripts
The console says I lack the required entitlement
The server's license key belongs to a different Cfx.re account than the one that owns the script. Either generate the server key on the account that bought the script, or buy on the account that owns the key. Also check that you downloaded the zip from Keymaster and didn't edit protected files.
Which frameworks are supported?
Qbox, QBCore, ESX, ND Core, ox_core and standalone, detected on their own. SAF HUD covers Qbox, QBCore, ESX and standalone out of the box. Anything else plugs in through the open bridge. See Frameworks.
Do I need a database?
Only SAF Scenes needs one (oxmysql). SAF Garage and SAF Anticheat use oxmysql when it runs and fall back to JSON files when it doesn't. The others save to files in their own folder or nothing at all.
Can I change the escrowed script?
Yes, everywhere you would normally need to: every option is in config.lua, and every framework, inventory and
permission hook is a short function in bridge/. Put your changes in custom/ and they survive updates.
My framework or inventory is not on the list
Set Config.Framework (and Config.Inventory where there is one) to 'standalone' or 'none', then replace
the bridge functions the script needs in custom/server/. Each script's Custom servers page lists them, and
each is a few lines.
Do they slow my server down?
They are built to sit at 0.00 ms when nothing is happening, and only run per-frame code while a player is using
the feature. Check with resmon in the F8 console.
Can I translate the text?
Yes. Player-facing text is in config.lua. Keep any %s in the same order.
Updates
How do I update?
Download the new version from the same place as before and replace every file except custom/ and the data
files the script writes. See Updating.
Will an update undo my changes?
Not if they are in custom/. Changes made straight in config.lua or bridge/ are replaced by the new files.
Support
Where do I get help?
Open a ticket in our Discord or email supprot@safrp.org. Include the script, your framework and inventory, and the server console output from the start of the resource.
When are the coming soon scripts out?
Releases are announced in our Discord first. Their docs are already here so you can plan your setup.
