SAF Pursuit needs no database. ox_lib is optional: without it, notifications use your framework's own, then the game feed.
Steps
- Put the
saf-pursuitfolder in yourresourcesfolder. - Add it to
server.cfg, after your framework:server.cfgensure saf-pursuit - Set your police jobs in
Config.PoliceJobs. On Qbox and QBCore, any job of typeleocounts on its own. - Optional, for staff or servers without jobs:server.cfg
add_ace group.police pursuit.use allow - Start the server. The console prints the framework it found.
Who counts as police
A player can use pursuit modes when either is true:
- They have the
pursuit.useACE. - Their job is in
Config.PoliceJobs, or their job type is inConfig.PoliceJobTypes, and they are on duty (whenConfig.RequireOnDutyis on).
The default job list is police, sheriff, bcso, sasp, state, trooper, ranger and fib.
| Framework | Job and duty from |
|---|---|
| Qbox, QBCore | Player job name, type and onduty |
| ESX | Job name. ESX has no duty flag, so a listed job always counts as on duty |
| ND Core | Job name, always on duty |
| ox_core | Any group named in Config.PoliceJobs |
| Standalone | The ACE only |
Which vehicles
The driver must be in an Emergency class vehicle (class 18) or a spawn code listed in
Config.Vehicles.Models. Unmarked cars are often a different class, so add them there:
Lua
Config.Vehicles.Models = { 'police4', 'fbi', 'fbi2' }Set Config.Vehicles.EmergencyOnly = false to allow modes in any vehicle a police player drives.
Updating
Replace every file except your custom/ folder. Keep config changes in custom/shared/ so they survive. See
Custom servers.
